Meet Publishing

Publish Your Meet from Gym Art

Everything you need to send live scores from Gym Art to ScoreCat, step by step. Publishing is always free for meet directors.

Before you start

Check that everything on this list is ready:

  • You have admin access to the meet in Gym Art Meets.
  • You have your ScoreCat login email and password, or a Meet ID and API key from the ScoreCat Event Portal.
  • Every gymnast is entered on the meet roster.

Step 1: Create your ScoreCat account

New to ScoreCat? Create an account and verify your email address. Already registered? Skip to step two.

Step 2: Open Connectors

Open your meet in Gym Art Meets and select Connectors in the sidebar, under Score Exporting.

Step 3: Fill in the event details

Enter the venue name, street address, city, state or province, and ZIP or postal code. Click Save, then Done. The Connect button unlocks once every field is filled in.

Step 4: Connect ScoreCat

On the ScoreCat row under Partners, click Connect. Then choose one of two ways:

  • New meet: enter your ScoreCat login email and password, then click Create & connect. Gym Art creates the meet on ScoreCat for you.
  • Meet already on ScoreCat: click Already have a meet on ScoreCat? Enter its details, paste your API key and Meet ID, then click Connect.

Step 5: Check the connection

The ScoreCat row shows Connected, your Meet ID, and the upload status (Not published, then Uploaded — or Failed if something needs attention).

Step 6: Turn on live publishing

Switch on Live publishing and scores go to ScoreCat as judges enter them. When the meet is over, switch it off and press Finalize meet to mark the results official. Your meet cover image becomes the meet logo on ScoreCat.

Step 7: Pause, resend or disconnect

Use Resend everything to push all meet data again. The menu on the ScoreCat row lets you Pause publishing, edit your credentials, or Disconnect.
